Salvage Hunter's Drew Pritchard was well aware that his dream restoration project would be a risky venture. To ensure work didn't come to a standstill at his five-storey Georgian townhouse in Bath, Somerset, he had to part with some of his most prized antiques and collectibles."There's been a lot of stress, sleepless nights, a lot of worry – because I can't back out now," he reveals in the latest episode of a special Salvage Hunter series titled Georgian House Restoration. "It's not a never-ending supply of money.
You know, I don't have have a magic money tree, as they say."The five-part series on Quest channel follows Drew's journey to renovate a Grade I-listed property that was divided into five flats in the early 1970s.
Drew purchased the house for £1.5m in summer 2022, but the "botched" conversion left him and his team with a mountain of work - and there have been unforeseen hurdles along the way.
