Salford Red Devils are set to part company with Richard Marshall. Rugby League Live understands that Marshall could leave the Red Devils after just one season in charge of the Super League club, with talks taking place in the last 48 hours over an early end to his time in charge at the AJ Bell Stadium.
Former Halifax coach Marshall was appointed as Ian Watson's successor at the beginning of this season, but Salford have struggled to replicate the success of the tail end of Watson's time in charge.
Salford finished 11th after a difficult, inconsistent season, recording just seven wins from 22 games in charge of the club in Super League.
