A rugby team in Salford say they are 'crying out for help' after being blighted by a spate of vandalism. Langworthy Reds ARLFC say vandals have been terrorising their club since lockdown, causing extensive damaged to their changing rooms and bar.

Speaking to the MEN, committee member Jack Mellor says the trouble began almost two years ago when lockdown was announced and club members were no longer using their clubhouse on Oakwood Park.

Jack says in that time the vandals have completely demolished the walls in the changing rooms. He says multiple objects were also thrown through the windows of their bar. However, according to Jack, police were called to Oakwood Park after a group was spotted setting fireworks in the changing rooms by a member of public.
