Powerhouse forward Gil Dudson will leave Salford at the end of the 2020 Betfred Super League season, coach Ian Watson has confirmed.
The 29-year-old prop was voted Players' Player of the Year at the club's awards evening last season and was an integral part of the Red Devils side that advanced to a maiden Grand Final at Old Trafford, but will join Catalans Dragons for 2021 and beyond after rejected a new year two-year deal at the AJ Bell Stadium. "Gil has made the decision that he thinks is best for him and his family," said Watson. "But what I don't want is for people to get an opinion that Gil has just decided to up sticks here."
