ITV This Morning host Alison Hammond looks fabulously regal as she portrays the fussy Countess in Sainsbury's Christmas advert.
Taking place in a fantasy medieval world, the supermarket's advert features the 47-year-old presenter as she surveys some festive food from the Sainsbury's Taste The Difference range.Items such as cider-glazed gammon and mini crab thermidor crumpets are brought to Alison as she sits on the throne - but she's not happy with the pudding.
Dressed to the nines in a glittering golden dress, Alison declares to her royal subjects: "I've never really liked Christmas pudding - bring me something different - or else", the Mirror reports.
At her request, the young cook begins work his magic in the kitchen to create something more to Alison's taste.Accompanied by a medieval arrangement of the hit song Teenage Dirtbag by Wheatus, the nervous-looking man presents The Countess and a table full of royals, with yet another Christmas pudding - much to her disgust, as the whole room lets out a collective gasp.However, luckily for The Countess it's soon revealed that it's caramelised biscuit flavour, which Alison concedes is "a bit of me" before bursting into laughter.Speaking about her role in the advert, the Big Brother star said: "I absolutely loved playing The Countess in this year’s Sainsbury’s Christmas advert.
