Sade are recording a new album during lockdown, which would herald their first new material in a decade. It would be the British soul group's first full-length release since 2010's Soldier of Love, and only their seventh LP overall in a career that now spans nearly 40 years.
In a new profile by GQ, it is confirmed that the band - fronted by Sade Adu and featuring Paul Denman, Andrew Hale and Stuart Matthewman - are currently locked away working on the LP at Sade's house in Gloucestershire.
The news of new material also comes as the four-piece release the boxset compilation This Far today (Oct. 9), comprising of all six of their previous studio albums pressed on to vinyl and CD that have been remastered at Abbey Road.
