Also on the list are NLE Choppa, Ice Spice, Meghan Trainor and Lay Bankz. Despite it’s reign as a social media app, TikTok’s presence in the music industry is unmistakable.
Global acts claim major real estate on these year-end lists, with seven of TikTok’s Global top 10 artists — Yeri Mua, Enhypen, NCT, Le Sserafim, Stray Kids, aespa, Tomorrow x Together and Twice — being K pop acts.
The remaining two on that list are Mexican internet personality and singer Kim Loaiza, and Sabrina Carpenter. In fact, Carpenter’s viral hits — namely “Espresso,” “Please Please Please,” and “Taste” — inspired over 15 million videos, earning her the title of TikTok’s Top Artist in the U.S.
