Members of S Club Juniors have paid tribute to Paul Cattermole after he died “unexpectedly” at the age of 46.The S Club 7 singer, who weeks ago was confirmed to be part of an upcoming 25th anniversary tour, was found dead on Thursday afternoon at this home in Dorset.
Following the devastating news, his bandmates, friends, and family have shared their touching tributes. Members of the spin-off pop group S Club Juniors have also taken to social media to share their shock at the news and pay tribute to Paul.
Loving tributes poured in from the former members, including Stacey Franks, who posted a sombre Instagram story where she shared how ‘taken aback’ she was by the news, and admitted that even though she didn’t know Paul personally, the news had shook her, saying: “It's really upset me because S Club as a whole has just been such a huge part of my life and you know I owe so much to S Club. “I just wanted to send my love and strength to everybody that knew Paul, all the others, his friends, his family and god, I don't even know what to say.
I'm not ignoring people I'm just a little bit taken aback. But thank you.” Rochelle Humes, whose career began as a member of S Club Juniors before she went on to join The Saturdays, also shared a tribute on Instagram, posting an image from the popular Instagram account ‘All on the Board’, which had written a tribute message to Paul and his legacy, adding her own caption of “Utterly heartbreaking news…”.
