Rylan Clark has issued an update on his mum as she remains in hospital following an emergency surgery overseas. The BBC Radio 2 host shared the news of his beloved mother Linda's ill health last week, revealing that she had taken a "bad fall" while they were on holiday.

The 34-year-old explained that his mum was left needing emergency surgery abroad, adding that she has been in a bad spot with her health which had made the treatment even more complex.

But the television personality has now posted a sweet picture of Linda smiling in hospital with her arm and leg bandaged up on Instagram, telling followers she was feeling a little better, reports the Mirror.

Taking to the social media platform on Sunday, Rylan said: "Someone is out of the bed and in a chair. She can’t believe how many people have sent messages.
