Rylan Clark has said he wants to be a “little more real” and that his public persona has “different traits” compared to the other version of himself.
Speaking whilst promoting his memoir Ten: The Decade That Changed My Future, Rylan 33, spoke out about the impact of his real name, Ross, versus his stage name.
He said: "Looking back at the last year it has been good to introduce Ross to Rylan. My real name is Ross." He said that they are "two different people" and have "different traits". "Rylan is all smiles, always in make-up.
Ross is a bit more Peroni, one hand down the tracksuit.That is Ross," he said about the two aspects of his being. The insight into his life came up while Rylan was in conversation with Claudia Winkleman at the Southbank Centre on Wednesday to promote his new memoir.
