Rylan Clark has been left denying his 'death' as he shared a post which featured a picture of him from his X Factor days alongside a string of famous faces who have sadly passed.

The original post was shared by the account for Kathy Burke’s podcast Where There's A Will, There's A Wake, on which Rylan was the recent guest. "Gone too soon, RIP @rylan," a message read.

It added: "Have find downing all the sambuca with the other huns up there." Reshared to Rylan's Instagram Story alongside the Spice Girls track, 'Goodbye', it seems the post may have sparked concern as the radio and TV star followed-up the post with a message to his millions of followers.

Typing across a black background, Rylan said: "I'm not dead, just been on @deathpos_ with Kathy Burke x."
