Rylan Clark recently told a music group that they made him feel "catfished" and dubbed them "absolutely awful" live on air. In a recent broadcast of Rylan On Saturday on BBC Radio 2, the much-loved TV personality welcomed House Gospel Choir to the studio to take part in his music 'KaRYoke' segment.
In the segment, Rylan invites singers onto the show to join him for a spot of karaoke. In fact, the star even took part in a 24-hour karaoke singalong to raise cash for Children in Need back in 2019.
In the recent show, Rylan told the choir: "Now, listen, guys. I don't mean to be rude, but you've made it because, as you know, you've sung with the likes of Kylie and everyone else, but today, you get to sing KaRYoke." As he was greeted with a jubilant response from the group, the broadcaster replied that this was what they'd been "waiting for" and that he didn't want to be "let down." Rylan decided to have some fun with the group, jokingly saying: "I did just hear you do a little rehearsal - absolutely awful.
Genuinely feel catfished because I've been such a fan for years. Didn't realise it was all autotuned, so there's really a lot riding on this." However, he then revealed that he was "clearly joking" before gushing about House Gospel Choir.
