Ryanair's tells holidaymakers they have to wait a year for cash refunds

Ryanair's changed its refund policy, sending a link to a voucher to customers asking for their money back on cancelled flights.

The airline adds that these can be turned into cash - but only if you wait a year. And it's fair to say people are less than impressed by the move.

Philip Byrne tweeted: "Woke up to a new phase in @Ryanair 's travel vouchers shakedown: now you must wait a YEAR before getting a refund, IF you don't use the voucher. "There's even a link to stumble into that co-opts you in and some panicked, error-riddled copy.

I want my money back NOW." Under current laws if your holiday is cancelled, you are entitled to a full cash refund within 14 days.
