Officials in hazmat suits reportedly dragged a coronavirus-infected passenger off a Ryanair flight after he broke quarantine rules.

Dramatic video shows the moment the passenger was "offloaded" after he had taken his seat despite receiving a text message from the Government telling him he had caught the deadly virus.

The scenes were captured by another passenger on Wednesday, just minutes before take-off on a Pisa-bound flight from Stansted Airport.

The passenger and his companion were taken to the airport's isolation area, and seats and cabin bins were disinfected before the flight took off at least one hour and 20 minutes late.
