Ryan Tubridy has shared the devastating news that one of his Late Late Show colleagues has passed away. Fiona Hurley worked alongside Ryan in RTÉ, and he has said that she is gone ‘too soon,’ while describing how much of a lovely woman Fiona was.

Ryan took to his Instagram to share the sad news with his followers, as he uploaded a photo of himself and Fiona during one of the Late Late Toy Shows.

Along with the memorable photo, the RTÉ presenter said: ‘We lost a very dear member of the Late Late family this weekend when Fiona Hurley passed away. ‘She was a beacon of light and kindness in a world gone mad.

We will miss her so much and are thinking of her family today. She loved the Toy Show and this photo captures who she was. RIP Fiona.’ Ano
