Ryan Tubridy is no stranger to the nasty comment or the occasional troll. However, when he was verbally abused on the street it was something that made him take a stand.
The Late Late Show presenter shared that he was walking in Dun Laoghaire with his eldest daughter when a man threw a nasty homophobic slur his way.
Ryan explained he was approached by a ‘young guy’ who appeared to be in his mid-twenties. The stranger walked past the presenter, saying, ‘Tubridy, you f****t.’ Speaking on his RTÉ Radio 1 show, he explained: ‘I had two things I could do with that, I could stop or keep going and not cause a fuss.’ ‘I think I would have let myself down if I didn’t challenge him.
