Ryan Thomas told fans everything wasn't perfect in his life in 2024 as he reflected on the past year. While the former Coronation Street star highlighted a number of positive things to happen in his life during the year as it came to a close, he also pointed out that 'bad things happened' and suggested that people should 'remember' social media is often a just a highlights reel.
Ryan, who shot to fame playing Jason Grimshaw in ITV's Corrie, took to Instagram on Tuesday (December 31) with a video featuring a compilation of pictures and videos taken throughout 2024, including his winning moment on Dancing on Ice and his 40th birthday celebrations.
Alongside the video, Ryan penned to his fans: "Turned 40 this year, won dancing on ice, did a load of travelling presenting live telly, somehow ended up presenting our own game show with my bros, love padel started hosting tournaments abroad, best man at my boys unforgettable wedding, did my first hyrox and woke up for the first time on Christmas day with all my kids.
I’ll take that 2024" It is then when he added: "(Loads of not so good things happened but we only show the best bits on here…remember that!) Happy new year guys!..I’ll be tucked up in bed smug as bug in a rug tonight." And his followers were quick to respond with praise and support for the honest update. @kmartycharlt said: "Well done for keeping it real.
