Ryan Thomas has been flooded with messages of love and support as he confirmed a tragic loss for the Thomas family, four years after his dad's death.

The actor took to social media on Thursday (August 29) to confirm the death of his uncle, Baz. He shared a black-and-white video he filmed of his uncle playing the guitar during what appeared to be a small family gathering.

Alongside the post, Ryan penned: "Uncle Baz!!! A born entertainer, you touched us all with your music.
