Ryan Thomas has admitted his public prank on his fiancee Lucy Mecklenburgh left her "fuming." The 39-year-old star, who was on Coronation Street and Neighbours, revealed to his brothers Scott and Adam that he plays pranks on her to "annoy her." Speaking on the third episode of the brother's Global podcast, Mancs on the Mic, Ryan detailed the lengths he goes to in an attempt to embarrass his ex-reality TV star partner.

Lucy, who found fame on The Only Way Is Essex, accepted Ryan's proposal on a romantic trip to Italy in 2019. The pair have two young children together, a son Roman, who is three years old, and daughter Lilah, one.

Ryan told his brothers that while at the traffic lights in Manchester, he pranked Lucy and that she was angry for hours. He said: "I think that’s the main reason I do it, just to annoy her, she likes to be quiet, lady-like and I think how can I just put her on the spot?
