Ryan Reynolds opened up about Channing Tatum‘s future within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Over the summer, the 44-year-old actor fulfilled a years-long dream by making a cameo in Deadpool & Wolverine as Gambit, the fast-talking card-dealing member of the X-Men.

The appearance came after a stalled attempt to develop a stand-alone movie for Gambit, which was going to star Channing.

It also reignited hopes to see the actor reprise the role in the future. During a new interview, Ryan weighed in on if it was a possibility.
