Ryan Reynolds & Hugh Jackman Being Considered to Host Oscars 2025
justjared.comThe search for the host of the 2025 Academy Awards is officially on! After hosting the Oscars for the fourth time last year, Jimmy Kimmel revealed back in August that he has turned down the opportunity to host the awards show again next year.
As producers look for a new host, it has been revealed that some stars are being considered to host next year’s ceremony, including BFFs Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman! Keep reading to find out more…Deadline reports that Oscars producers are considering having an ensemble of rotating stars hosting the 2025 ceremony, and after their box office hit Deadpool & Wolverine hit theaters this past summer, Ryan and Hugh are among the top choices to co-host.
If you didn’t know, Hugh previously hosted the Oscars back in 2009. The site also reports that sources have said that Will Ferrell, Amy Poehler, and Dwayne Johnson have also been approached to host.
Back in July it was reported that another comedian has already turned down the opportunity to host the show and another star is not expected to say yes if asked.
