Ryan Kent's debut has been hailed over in Turkey as the winger begins his life after Rangers.The former Liverpool player had a disappointing final season in the Premiership and joined the Turkish giants on a free transfer earlier this summer.
On Wednesday night he lined up from the start for his debut in Europa Conference League qualifying against Moldova's Zimbru Chisinau.
A convincing 5-0 win was secured to put them on the brink of a third round qualifier spot and Kent got the second of five goals on the night.
His name was trending on X – formerly known as Twitter – after his effort "blew the nets" according to Turkish media outlet Skorer, on an 'astonishing' night for the Fenerbahce debutants who included Edin Dzeko.
