Kent did not pen new terms with Rangers before leaving in the summer alongside Alfredo Morelos, Allan McGregor, Scott Arfield and Filip Helander but has found game time in Istanbul a puzzle with the Super League side making a number of transfers ahead of their season.The former Liverpool winger had been the subject of reports saying a loan move could be on the cards in January, but Clement ahead of his first transfer window in charge shunned any notion he would speak of a player not in the Auchenhowie building.
The Light Blues have been linked with a number of names as they mount a Scottish Premiership title charge against rivals Celtic but it appears the 27-year-old is nowhere near the forefront of Clement's mind.He said when asked about rumours of Kent coming back to the club on loan in January: "I can say something very important for the next few months I will never go in to rumours.
It has no use to go in to rumours, I will only speak on players inside this building. "I've been in football more than 30 years, so many things can happen before a player is in our out of a building.
