Ryan Kent revealed he was desperate to sign for Fenerbahce as soon as possible - even though Rangers boss Michael Beale dismissed the first links with the player and a move to Turkey.
The former Light Blues winger quit Ibrox after five years at the club and moved to the Turkish Super League for a new challenge last month.
And the ex- Liverpool player, in an interview on Fenerbahce TV, has made it clear he couldn't sign for the Istanbul side quick enough and is now determined to wrestle the title off bitter rivals Galatasaray after his new club finished runners-up.
When reports of Kent moving to Fenerbahce first surfaced back in May, Beale said: "I don't think there's any truth in that” but Kent has now said: "As soon as I heard about Fenerbahce's interest I felt happy and I wanted this transfer to happen as quickly as possible.
