Ryan Gosling transforms into Ken with six pack and bleached hair for Barbie movie

Ryan Gosling has transformed into the iconic character of Ken from the Barbie toy franchise for the highly-anticipated new movie, which also stars Margot Robbie in the lead role, and he's gone for a radical change in look.

The 41 year old Hollywood actor, whose career skyrocketed after he starred in brooding romance The Notebook, looked worlds away from any previous role as he sported a platinum bleached blond look for the first time in an official promo shot.

With his tresses short at the sides and cut in a semi curtain-style at the front, Ryan also got Ken's smouldering eyebrow-raise down perfectly for the role.

In the new snap, which debuted the second lead character to the Barbie film, Ryan also sported a toned torso and a pristine six-pack, much like the Ken toy doll.
