Celtic and Scotland midfielder is adamant a common-sense approach is needed rather than the catch-all system that forced him to miss three massive games for his country and last weekend’s Old Firm clash.Christie has opened up on his frustration at being ordered by Scottish Government protocols to stay indoors for 14 days after NHS Lothian deemed he’d been in close contact with Scotland team-mate Stuart Armstrong, who returned a positive test.During his lay-off, he says he’d taken six negative tests, yet was still told to stay in his flat.Christie understands that strict measures are necessary and that Holyrood health officials have to be cautious.But, with regular testing taking place for players, he can’t see why it has to be 14 days out.
