A Rutherglen publican is confident that coronavirus won’t cost him his business.The Sportsman Bar has been a fixture on Glasgow Road for more than three decades, but when lockdown was enforced ten weeks ago, the popular watering hole closed its doors like every other pub in the country.Owner John Vickers has used the unexpected closure to spruce up his establishment and says he feels positive as lockdown restrictions start to be eased.
John told the Reformer : “I’m quite optimistic going forward.
