A Rutherglen actor is preparing to stun audiences at the Edinburgh Fringe by starring in a play that delves into the effects of social media on one's mental health.Craig Barclay, who recently appeared in BBC’s Shetland, will star in ‘Addict’ - an explosive, 60-minute rollercoaster ride portraying the power and perils of social media and its potential impact on mental health.The play explores the consequences of posting online through the eyes of paramedic John, who catapults from an ordinary guy to an overnight sensation when his tweet ignites a viral storm.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
