Ruth desperately missed her mum while she was unable to see her, telling her fans about it on Instagram. Lockdown has begun to ease and they took the first opportunity they could to spend quality time together.

Her mum Joan, 88, has been living in assisted accommodation and she has finally been able to reunite with her daughter Ruth at her family home.
