Ruth Langsford was left teary eyed while presenting Loose Women today as she discussed an emotional moment she shared with son Jack.

The panel on the ITV show were asking 'When was the last time you had a good cry?' as they spoke about the importance of letting out pent up emotions.

Ruth, who appeared on Thursday's Loose Women alongside panellists Stacey Solomon, Saira Khan and Nadia Sawalha, spoke about her own recent experience which again reduced her to tears.

The 60-year-old, who is married to This Morning co-host Eamonn Holmes, revealed how she was crying in her kitchen one night and was left emotional after her son Jack came to comfort her.
