Ruth Jones: ‘You appreciate success more when it comes later in life’

Gavin and Stacey star Ruth Jones has said she ‘finally started to believe in myself’ after she turned 40. In an interview with Woman and Home magazine for the June issue, Ruth, now 53, said that although she’s now in her 50s, she still feels like she’s two decades younger.

Ruth appeared on the red carpet in January with her life-long friend and co-star Rob Brydon, who plays uncle Bryn, for the National Television Awards.

A decade after the final episode aired, Gavin and Stacey recently returned to our screens with a much-anticipated Christmas Special, with the showing receiving the Impact Award at the NTAs.
