Ruben Amorim explains why Manchester United's set piece coach was absent for corners vs Arsenal

Ruben Amorim confirmed his assistant, Carlos Fernandes, is now in charge of Manchester United's set-piece defending. United hired former Lillestrom coach Andreas Georgson in the summer as their new set-piece coach and the Norwegian is still on the club's coaching staff.

Georgson used to stand in the technical area when United had a set piece yet under Amorim he remains seated and Fernandes is tasked with choreographing United's defenders.

United have added set-piece defensive drills to their pre-match warm ups yet both of Arsenal's goals came via corners in Amorim's maiden defeat as United manager. "The thinking is Carlos is responsible for set pieces, different stuff," Amorim explained. "Andreas is also there to help.
