RTÉ reveals when Fair City will stop airing new episodes after filming ceased

Fair City fans have been bracing themselves for the final episodes that were recorded before filming had to shut down and now, RTÉ has revealed when we’ll see the last of them.

As the COVID-19 situation developed in Ireland, the cast and crew on the show ceased filming to protect their health as the pandemic worsened.

In response to filming finishing indefinitely, RTÉ reduced the show’s airing schedule from four episodes a week down to two just two.

As it turns out, new episodes of the soap could be absent from the RTE schedule for the foreseeable if things don’t change in the coming weeks.
