RTÉ confirms when Fair City will air its last episode

With everything that has been going on TV, and in particular, soapland has become our link to regular life, albeit a fairly hyped-up version of real life.

As the weeks roll by however more and more shows are winding up production which inevitably means that soon we’ll start running out of episodes.

This week one of the longest-running shows in the country will air its final episode. It’s safe to say that there’s been no shortage of drama in Fair City over the past few weeks, we’ve seen, theft, deceit and a tragic overdose but we won’t be seeing anything for a while soon.

After the show scaled back its operations to twice a week it’s now been confirmed by RTÉ that the show will screen its final episode this week.
