RTÉ confirm Ryan Tubridy has tested positive for coronavirus

evoke.ieRTÉ has provided an update about Ryan Tubridy as his absence from his Radio 1 show continued on Monday morning. Fans of the presenter were again greeted by Oliver Callan’s voice when they tuned in for the morning slot nd, it doesn’t look like Ryan will be back to work anytime soon as RTÉ confirmed he tested positive for coronavirus after initially experiencing a persistent cough.
He is set to be absent for at least another week as a result of this diagnosis. A spokesperson for RTÉ said: ‘Oliver Callan will be filling in for Ryan on The Ryan Tubridy Show on RTE Radio 1 for the rest of the week.’ While he will not be returning to his radio show this week, no update has yet been provided about his TV hosting duties.
