Royals at Wimbledon – from Kate's brush with Meghan's pal to worry over George's suit
ok.co.ukThe Royals are a staple at the Wimbledon tennis tournament each year. Some of those in attendance this time around included The Prince and Princess of Wales and two of their children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
But the proud parents probably weren’t expecting their decision to dress their eldest in a classic suit to cause quite such a stir.
George was looking very smart indeed as he watched the Men’s singles final on 16 July, where newcomer Carlos Alcaraz triumphed over Novak Djokovic in a tense match.
However, some fans expressed concern over his outfit considering the warm weather. One took to social media to brand the decision “ridiculous” and asked “what’s wrong with a T-shirt?” Temperatures weren’t quite as hot as they had been in previous years, but by mid-afternoon, it had hit around 20 degrees celsius in London.
