Coronation viewers have taken to social media to voice their concerns about those who were attendance at Westminster Abbey. King Charles and Queen Camilla’s Coronation ceremony kicked off at Westminster Abbey at 11am, but several guests arrived more than two hours in advance – Emma Thompson and Lionel Richie included.
The ceremony itself was then two hours long, with many now pointing out that some guests will have had to wait hours to go to the loo.
As the service came to an end, one viewer tweeted: “The queue for the toilets inside Westminster Abbey will be huge in a few minutes time.” “Queues at the toilets are going to be epic after this.
I’m guessing at least half the congregation must be bursting by now,” said another. Another person who watched the ceremony from home went on: “Why does nobody in the #coronation need the toilet?
