None of the Royal Family publicly wished Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's daughter, Lilibet, a happy birthday as she turned two on Sunday.

Unlike last year, when there were well wishes sent on Twitter, the Royals stayed silent on the youngster's big day. It is believed that Harry, along with Meghan, their eldest Archie, 4, celebrated Lilibet's birthday with a small gathering in California, where they were joined by Meghan's mum Doria Ragland.

When Lilbet turned one, her birthday fell during the celebrations of the queen's Platinum Jubilee. A number of the royals sent well wishes, with the official account for Queen Elizabeth posting: "Wishing Lilibet a very Happy 1st Birthday!" Harry and Meghan threw a small party for their daughter at Frogmore Cottage, where they were joined by close friends and family.

The lack of public birthday messages may be because of the strained relationship between Harry and the Royals, which wasn't helped by the Duke of Sussex's tell-all memoir Spare.
