mirror.co.ukRoy Keane has labelled Kyle Walker "an idiot" after his mistake cost Manchester City a penalty against Liverpool. The right-back was turned by Sadio Mane who was then scythed down by Walker which resulted in referee Craig Pawson pointing to the spot.
Mohamed Salah slotted home to give the Reds the lead after 13 minutes. Liverpool dominated the early exchanges before City pegged them back and equalised through Gabriel Jesus.
The game hung in the balance at half-time, but Keane didn't hold back in his assessment of Walker. "Because he's up against an idiot." he said when asked how Mane was able to win a penalty.
