Ross Kemp has been supporting his "true friend", Dame Barbara Windsor's widower, Scott Mitchell. The EastEnders icon, who played Peggy Mitchell on the Square, died in December aged 83 following an Alzheimer's battle.
Her death sparked a flood of tributes from fans to celebrity pals to the Prime Minister and the Prince of Wales. And Ross - who spoke at her funeral - has been taking care of Scott. "I was very much involved and I'm still close to Scott," Ross told OK!
magazine, "He's a true friend and always will be. "It's widely documented that I read the eulogy at her funeral and I was with Scott all the way through it. "I made a documentary with Scott about Alzheimer's and Barbara did know about that.
