Rosario Dawson has to thank her fans for helping in her getting the role of Ahsoka Tano in The Mandalorian.
In her interview with Vanity Fair, the 41-year-old actress shared that the role came to her after the show’s crew noticed them campaigning for her to play the character on the Disney+ series. “It first came from fans online,” she shared. “Someone tweeted me and fancast me.
I retweeted back and I was like, ‘Absolutely, yes please’ and ‘#AhsokaLives.’ And apparently that got the attention of someone who has been doing the Star Wars press for years.” Rosario added that it was then “forwarded it to Dave Filoni.
