Ron Gordon thanks 'incredible' Hibs fans as chairman urges supporters to respect Scottish Cup Final restrictions

Scottish Cup Final. The Hibees take on Callum Davidson's St Johnstone in the Saturday showpiece at Hampden as they bid to win the cup for the fourth time in their history.

But it would be the second success in just five years, with David Gray's header lifting a 114-year curse in the competition back in 2016's final against Rangers.

That momentous day is likely the greatest game in any Hibs supporter's lifetime and as such there is a huge emotional connection with football's oldest trophy.

And so Gordon has sent an open letter to those diehards thanking them for their support in a season unlike any other - while also urging them to cheer the team on responsibly with the threat of the pandemic locking supporters out of Hampden once more.
