He played for Manchester United, Preston North End, Real Madrid, Milan, LA Galaxy, Paris Saint-Germain and the England national team, for which he held the appearance record for an outfield player until 2016. Romeo Beckham’s professional football debut underwhelms fans

It can’t be easy having a name like Beckham to live up to and it seems that Romeo Beckham’s professional football debut left fans rather underwhelmed this weekend.

The middle son of soccer star David played for Fort Lauderdale CF on Sunday night, taking to the pitch as a right winger and playing for 79 minutes.

Although playing for the majority of the 2-2 match against Tormenta, football fans were not very impressed by the 19-year-old’s skills.

Sky Sports shared a highlights clip of Romeo’s professional debut on Twitter and it didn’t take long for people to start comparing the younger Beckham’s skills to his dad’s.
