Chicago Fire is a firefighter down as Rome Flynn, who portrayed Derrick Gibson in the NBC drama, is leaving after six episodes. “Curtain call chicago fire,” Flynn shared on Instagram.
Deadline reported Friday that the March 27th episode was Flynn’s final episode in the procedural. In the most recent episode, Flynn’s Gibson has a breakdown and tells Miranda Rae Mayo’s Stella that he needs to leave to enter treatment after having withdrawals from prescription drugs.
