Roma have reportedly stuck a £40million price tag on Tammy Abraham ahead of a potential return to the Premier League. Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has made signing a centre-forward his top transfer priority this summer.

The Manchester Evening News understands that Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane is his number one target with Napoli's Victor Osimhen, Benfica's Goncalo Ramos, Atalanta's Rasmus Hojlund, Ajax's Mohammed Kudus and Eintracht Frankfurt's Randal Kolo Muani also on the club's radar.

But recent reports have suggested that the club have sent scouts to watch Abraham in action for Roma in recent weeks, with the Italian side prepared to sell up. Former Chelsea striker Abraham has scored 36 times in 100 appearances for Jose Mourinho's side. The report adds that while Chelsea do have a buyback clause on the forward, it is unlikely they will move for him due to the size of their squad.
