Singer Rod Stewart and his wife Penny Lancaster have tied the knot once again.The pair, who have been married since 2007, renewed their vows in Sydney, Australia.

According to Woman's Day, the 79 year old was in the country touring when he and his wife, 52, decided to wed again. Their two children, Alastair, 17, and Aidan, 12, and their niece, Raphaella, 18, were also in attendance.They renewed their vows for the first time around their 10th wedding anniversary in 2017 at their 18th-century Essex home surrounded by over 100 guests.

A friend of the couple said: "There's a very good reason why Rod's insisted he space out his tour dates – it's the perfect place and the perfect time to renew their wedding vows." They continued saying that the couple had wanted to do it for some time but hadn't yet gotten around to it. "Now they can't wait and are using this chance to do something special while here." Rod and Penny later celebrated with Australian radio host Richard Wilkins on his show, after speculation earlier in the week that the two had renewed their union after taking a boat out to Sydney Harbour.Their friend said that the couple are "so in love". "They think there's something fun about celebrating their vows in different locations around the world, so why not do it all again in Sydney!" The couple first met in 1999 after Penny had left modeling to pursue photography, and she offered to take pictures of him while he was touring.
