Rod Gilbert was a Hall of Fame forward for the New York Rangers who was known as “Mr. Ranger.”Rod Gilbert played his entire Hockey Hall of Fame career with the New York Rangers, retiring in 1978.
Affectionately known as “Mr. Ranger.” He holds the team records for most goals and points in a career. Gilbert played on the famous GAG line with Jean Ratelle and Vic Hadfield.
The Montreal native was an eight-time All-Star and was the first Ranger to have his jesey retired. He helped lead Canada to victory over Russia in the 1972 Summit Series.
