Robin Wright To Receive The Monte-Carlo Television Festival’s Crystal Nymph Award

Robin Wright will be feted at this year’s Monte-Carlo Television Festival. She will receive the Festival’s Crystal Nymph Award, which is bestowed for career achievements and creating a lasting impact on the TV industry.

Rising to fame for her role as Buttercup in The Princess Bride, Wright’s on-screen work includes roles in Forrest Gump and House of Cards.

Her portrayal of Claire Underwood in the Netflix series won her a Golden Globe and multiple Emmy Award noms. Wright’s recently announced projects include The Girlfriend for Prime Video.

Wright also directs and produces. In TV she has directed episodes of series including Ozark and Tell Me Lies.
