Robert Pattinson’s ‘Mickey 17’ release date brought forward

Robert Pattinson sci-fi black comedy Mickey 17 has seen yet another change to its release date, with it now set to arrive earlier than expected.The film, which is an adaptation of Edward Ashton’s 2022 novel Mickey7, is directed by Bong Joon-ho, who helmed the Oscar-conquering Parasite in 2019 as well as Okja, Snowpiercer and The Host.Pattinson plays Mickey Barnes, a man who signs up to be an “expendable”, a human that can regenerate after death, but finds multiple versions of himself confronting each other after a space expedition goes wrong.

The film also stars Naomi Ackie, Steven Yeun, Toni Collette and Mark Ruffalo.Check out the trailer here:The film’s release date has been moved back and forth multiple times over the last 12 months, but now it appears that a final date has been set, with Warner Bros.

announcing it will be arriving in theatres in the US on March 7, 2025.This means fans can catch the dystopian drama over a month earlier than previously expected, with the film swapping places in the schedule with Michael B.

Jordan and Ryan Coogler’s Sinners, which will now be out on April 18.Mickey 17 completed its filming in 2022 and had originally been projected for a March 2024 release, but that was delayed due to the actors’ and writers’ strikes in 2023.
