W. Murnau’s 1922 silent vampire film, but had to drop of out the movie due to scheduling conflicts. While speaking with IndieWire, Robert revealed that Harry was set to play Hutter in the movie. “It’s fallen apart twice,” Robert admitted about trying to get the movie started. “I’ve been trying to get the word out because the word did carry that Harry Styles was going to be in the movie.
I just want to be clear that he was going to be Hutter and not Nosferatu himself.” Thomas Hutter is the human who encounters the titular vampire on a business trip and ultimately kills him. Robert added that now that Harry is not involved, he’s wondering if it will ever see the light of day. “I’ve been trying so hard,” he said. “And I just wonder if Murnau’s ghost is telling me, like, you should stop.” Nosferatu followed the vampire Count Orlok of Transylvania, who wants to buy a house in Germany and becomes enamored of the real-estate agent’s wife.
